His Last Words

His Last Words

Writing a letter to her forever,
Annie's hopeless soul is still a dreamer
Keeping her faith and holding it tighter,
It is a letter for her beloved stranger.

Sitting under the tree of hope,
There's no way that she can cope.
A lonely girl who always wear a smile,
They don't know she cries a river of Nile.

Until one day, a guy suddenly came,
Wearing a lopsided grin, an aura that everyone can tame
His name is John, the guy who changed her world.
Who understands her weirdness even she didn't told.

They fell in the word they called LOVE
Which in the world they can free to have
They never let any moment pass
Cause they want their love to last

One day, Annie called to John
His heart beats fast, thinking what had he done
Her voice was low and covered with fear
It was a news he didn't want to hear.

Annie said "I was diagnosed with cancer"
All he did was hide his tears, doesn't want to believe her.
That the one she loves would have to die,
Wishing that all she said was just a lie.

John almost spent all his time with her,
Wishing their moment will last forever.
His fingers run through her hair,
Hoping that it can ease her fear.

Annie rushed in the hospital two days ago,
He always visited her even he's tired so.
Singing the song they usually sing,
Making her laugh by doing stupid things

Then the time had came,
Anne grasped for some air.
Whispering those words he was longing to hear,
But every second pass covered his heart with fear.

"I love you John with all my heart,
You are God's greatest work of art.
Thank you for coming in life,
I still love you even in the afterlife."

Annie smile to John weakly,
As she gripped his arms and cry silently.
Spitted blood and look at him closely
As she lost her breathe in agony.

John mourned for his lost,
For the girl she loves the most.
Feeling crush like broken glass,
It's like killing him inside at last.

In the funeral, he took a last looked,
He cried all that he could.
As he turned away, whispering those words,
"See you soon my dear life, I'll come with you."
